This is a fun and friendly class that will inspire parents and their kids to take on this hobby and to care about bird and habitat conservation. In this two-part series of classes and field trips, you will learn how, where and why to go birding.

Getting acquainted with your backyard birds
This one-hour presentation will feature images of the common birds in the Seattle area, as well as how to identify them, recognize their songs, and attract them. In addition, it will feature a list of good places to go birding in Seattle, as well as suggestions on bird field guides and optics.

Wildlife Viewing in Puget Sound
Designed for visitors, this is a stimulating one-hour presentation that provides an overview of Puget Sound geography, wildlife and birds, including fun facts about its mountains, infamous weather and famous coffee consumption.

Bird Migration
This entertaining, informative and timely one hour presentation covers the why, how and where of bird migration. It features beautiful images of birds that migrate or live here year round and includes stories of epic journeys as well as those that only cover a relatively short distance.

Texas Big Bend and Davis Mountains
Take a virtual tour of a seldom seen but magnificent natural areas which are home to the largest number of bird and cacti species of any National Park. Big Bend Also boasts diverse wildlife, rugged and scenic mountains. This tour, with its unique blend of natural wonders and Texas charm, is a guide favorite.

Where the Wild things still are: The greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and the Great Salt Lake Watershed
Yellowstone Park is known for its abundant wildlife, geysers and scenic beauty. Altogether, these 20 million acres provide habitat for one of North America’s premier natural areas.
