Several years ago my wife and I along with two good friends, took a Naturalist Journey to Big Bend National Park in Texas. It turned out to be one of the best trips we have ever taken anywhere. Naturalist Journeys specializes in small group tours of outstanding natural areas all over the world. Their tours are not just about birding, they are about all forms of natural and human history. You walk, even hike some distance, on their tours. You stay in nice places with character, and you eat good food. What’s not to like?
